About the Comic

I would be lying if I said that SOK Puppets is the first comic I've ever made, I've had a few before this one. however; unlike the other comics - which were mostly based off of friends and family - SOK Puppets is based souly off of my ideas - with little to no input from bickering friends who don't believe they got enough "show time" in the comic.

As you can see in the above picture... was initially meant to be morbid, with dead Meese and mold... that - hasn't really happened. Mostly because I've never done a 'Gag-a-Day' type comic before, and was rather more interested in seeing how people reacted to my often times strange humor and unconventional outlook on life.

However; I suppose what your really more interested in is - What exactly is this comic about, what prompted the initial idea of SOK Puppets?

Well - too put it simply, SOK Puppets is about a group of 'people' (using the word people lightly here - as I myself am not really sure what to call them...) in an asylum of sorts; Hence the straight jackets. Going about their daily lives... occasionally running out of pills and tranquilizers and generally just having a good time... Or possibly running away from rabid Meese and occasionally killing each other in strange dreams. As long as it keeps the comic running strong - I can't really complain.

Now... as for what prompted SOK Puppets? I'm not really sure - As I said earlier, I'm not often the type to go about making 'Gag-a-Day' comic strips... though I guess I could mostly blame it on DeviantART for hosting a comic making contest at Comically Yours It was too good to pass up!

TA DAA - SOK Puppets was born on June 22nd, 2007 :)

Name: Brady Jo
Nik-Name: Bray or Snail
Age: 19

I was born in a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada; a hamlet really. Theres 34 people living there now, 53 if you count the dogs and cats... Most people think that would have been a boring place to grow up - Those people are quite wrong. I had a great time there - playing Hide-and-Seek across the entire town with my brother and the six other kids who were around the same age as us. We had a blast.

I've moved a few times since "growing up" I was in British Columbia for a year, and am now living in nice little Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Making Phone books for a living and drawing and modeling in my spare time.

As for family and 'Personal' matters - I have one older brother, Dylan - who often times is my best friend, and probably always will be. A Godson - Dominic Emery, Born on July 1st, 2007. His mother, Angel, and I grew up together in that small little hamlet, and have been best friends for years. She's very much a part of my family. Tynera - My "fiancee" whom I love with all my heart (yes, gag, choke you with a god-damn spoon, I know) - Will alway be a big part of my family no matter what happens ten or twenty years down the road.

... I'm not sure what else to tell you really. I think It's pretty much all there. However; I'm sure I did miss something - so if you feel like dropping me a line the addy is pixies_box_of_kandy@hotmail.com.
